Lilly at T.J. Maxx!

I seriously adore T.J. Maxx. I had never been in one until about a month ago- always assuming that they just sold reject clothes that no one else wanted. Needless to say my impressions were changed when I found a Lilly Pulitzer skirt for $30 on my first visit. AKS wanted to go there this weekend to see if  he could find some cheap bow ties. Although he struck out (it's too close to prom season, and most of the ties had been picked over), I scored BIG.

I picked up two Lilly Pulitzer perfumes for $15 each- Beachy and Wink. These were about $80 each when they came out a few years ago, so I was excited to find them for so cheap.
Beachy is a soft, pretty scent that smells like sea breezes, frangipani, jasmine, coconuts, melon, clean laundry with a hint of salt. That sounds like a weird combination, but if I close my eyes and sniff it, I feel like I'm sitting on a tropical beach. Wink has strong floral tones mixed with a bright citrus scent and a musk undertone. It smells playful, girly, and clean. This was AKS's favorite. I wore it today and he couldn't stop sniffing me!

Look at these adorable quotes on the boxes: "Follow the sun"! and "Wear pink and make the boys wink!"

I love the cute Lilly print ascots!

AKS also found this Ralph Lauren blazer for me- $70 (down from $290). I'm slightly obsessed with the giant crest. This is why I take him shopping with me. He knows me better than I know myself, and can always find something that I love/look great in. What's the best thing you've ever found at T.J. Maxx?

  1. I got beachy and squeeze at my Marshalls a few days ago! I now am on the hunt for wink!

I love Marshalls more than T.J. Maxx here even though they are the same company I tend to find better things at M. But I did find a Ralph Lauren Swim suit last year that I love.

    1. I've been looking for Squeeze but I haven't found it yet! My T.J. Maxx has quite a few bottles of Wink in stock. They've been there for weeks and no one seems to be buying them. I found a Ralph Lauren swimsuit there last week that I adored, but sadly I had to return it because the bottoms weren't modest enough. Sadly, I don't have a Marshalls near me. But that's probably a blessing in disguise for my budget!
